How much yoga experience do I need?

Our 200-hour training is designed for curious, committed students - whether you’ve been practising for years or only a few months. All levels are welcome, and you’ll be supported to grow from wherever you’re starting.

Will I be ready to teach when I graduate?

Yes. You’ll graduate with the skills, confidence, and Yoga Alliance-recognised certification to teach group classes or one-to-one sessions anywhere in the world.

How is the training delivered?

It’s a hybrid program - a mix of live online sessions, in-person modules, take home work (readings and guided self-practice). 
You can register for the full 200 hour program to save money, or register for individual modules. That way you can structure the learning so it works with your life.

NOTE: BETA YTT - The Beta at this point in time, is only being sold as the full 200 hour package. While it is preferred you stick to the cohort you enrolled for, we understand that sometimes things come up. In such a case, talk to us and we can swap the modules out for a more convenient time (this may incur a small admin fee).

What style of yoga will we learn?

Our base is vinyasa taught through a functional, evidence-based lens, with a deep dive into philosophy, anatomy, energetics, and adaptations for all bodies.
There are elements of Restorative and Yin.

Question 5

Do I have to teach after I graduate?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. Many join for personal growth, a deeper practice, or to explore yoga beyond the poses. Others go on to teach in studios, gyms, workplaces, or retreats.

Can I pay in instalments?

Short answer - Yes! Flexible payment plans are available.

a) The Beta Training and individual modules can be  broken into 2 payments (+ an admin fee)

b)If you are buying the full 200 hour program as a package, you can pay a deposit of $300, then instalments that suit you, and as agreed with Embodied Co. 
Note: At least 50% of the fee must be paid prior to starting day one. Then all funds must be paid prior to the commencement of the next training installment.

Is there an assessment?

Of sorts. There is no pass or fail as such, but there is a written reflection paper and a practical element, to support you in your goals.

How much time should I allow each week?

During training weeks, plan for about 8 hours a day for live learning and practice teaching. Between modules, expect 3–5 hours a week for reading, practice, and assignments.

How long do I have to complete the training?

You can do this at a pace that suits you. Whether you want to immerse yourself in an intensive and do the 200 hours all at once, or spread it out over several years. 
The course will remain the same, and is here for you when you are ready.

Yes. We have structured the training so you will teach small pieces and build your confidence each and everyday.

Because this is the first ever round of training. The beta price of $299 is a thank-you for helping shape the program with your feedback.
Will I still be certified?
Yes! This is a full 200HR Yoga Alliance aligned program. Your certificate is the same as future rounds - the only difference is you got in first (and for a fraction of the cost).
Do I get the same content as future students?
Yes, and more. You’ll receive the complete training plus extra mentoring and close-knit support as part of the founding circle.
Will this price ever be offered again?
