The Principal - Renée
With over 15 years of experience in the personal training, wellness, and yoga therapy space, my journey has taken me from personal training and pre/postnatal coaching to becoming an ERYT-500, certified yoga therapist, and lead trainer of a well-established yoga school in Australia.

During my years as lead trainer, I guided hundreds of students through in-person trainings, then pivoted to a fully online model during the COVID lockdowns - a shift that deepened my understanding of how to create meaningful, connected learning experiences in the digital space. After stepping back to grow my family (two babies in two years!), I’m now returning to the work I love, offering my own teacher training - one that’s truly aligned with my values, voice, and vision, whilst still being able to nurture my family.

But beyond the titles and trainings, I’ve walked through burnout, healing, birth, and business - and emerged with a deep belief that yoga is a lifelong tool for self-connection, resilience, and transformation. My approach has always been the same: meet people where they are, and walk with them from there.

Embodied Co. Yoga Academy was born from a desire to do things differently - to teach from both the body and the books, to offer honest mentorship, and to support diverse students in becoming the kind of teachers the world genuinely needs: compassionate, curious, and deeply embodied.
